Fast Cupid
Fast Cupid (aka Spring Street Networks) is owned by the parent company of FriendFinder,
and powers the personals pages you'll find on such sites as Salon.com and The Onion.
Despite their claim of having over 200 programmers working on these sites, things
occasionally get buggy. Also, limitations placed on non-paying members mean that
profile photos are approximately one fuzzy square inch. If you're going to fork over
money for a "silver" or "gold" membership (required if you want to contact anyone)
you're taking it on faith that the photo
will blow up to something attracive. Still, some of the questions left over from
when the site was owned by Nerve.com provide some nice opportunities to be clever
in your profile.
